First Lady Amy G. Rich was born and raised in Raleigh, NC. She is a graduate of Athens Drive High School in Raleigh, N.C. She attended East Carolina University where she received a B.S. in Finance with a concentration in Banking. She and Pastor Rich met at East Carolina and were joined in marriage on February 23, 1991. They have 2 sons, Djuan, Jr and Adrian.

 

First Lady Amy received Christ as her personal savior on Tuesday, Oct. 6, 1992. In 1993, she moved her membership from First Cosmopolitan Baptist Church to Upper Room C.O.G.I.C. and remained as a faithful member until to the Lord called her to assist Pastor Rich in ministry at Victory Temple Ministries. At Upper Room, First Lady Amy was a member of the Women’s Department and Health and Fitness ministries.

She briefly served as a member of the Feet of Praise liturgical dance ministry. She is also a 2001 graduate of the Church of God in Christ Academy.

 

First Lady Amy has professional experience with over 5 years in the field of banking and 11 years in the insurance industry where she currently serves in management and serves on several committees and project teams. She is a committed wife and mother. One of her favorite scriptures is Phil 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” In Christ, we truly have the VICTORY!
